Telemedicine Education Advancement
through Micro-credentials
Supporting Innovation in Telemedicine Education with Cross-European Collaboration
The Telemedicine Education Advancement through Micro-credentials (TEAM) project is dedicated to reshaping digital health and telemedicine education across Southeastern Europe and Ukraine. It focuses on developing flexible learning pathways, called micro-credentials, that enhance the skills of both students and professionals in healthcare and IT. By leveraging these specialized certifications, the project ensures that participants gain the up-to-date knowledge needed to excel in a rapidly evolving healthcare environment.
This international collaborative effort, co-financed by the European Union under the Erasmus programme (Cooperation partnership in Higher Education), involves partners from six European countries: Belgium, Slovenia, Croatia, Greece, Ukraine, and Romania. These partners work closely to share expertise and identify the most pressing challenges faced by healthcare systems today. From limited digital literacy to inadequate telemedicine infrastructure, the TEAM project sets out to create solutions that will make telemedicine accessible, effective, and sustainable.
